Cool It Image COOL IT - The cutest and neatest personal refrigerator I have ever seen. Just push down on the cute little chrome handle, open the door and "Voila!". Use it to cool down the brew of your choice. It will hold a whole sixpack of twelve ounce cans, or as you can see, a couple of wine glasses for that special friend. Great for when camping, out by the pool or just about anywhere. Works great for tailgate parties and keeping your bologna and peanut butter sandwiches cool at the office. Easy clean plastic outer shell comes in your choice of four designer colors. Black, Red, White and Yellow. Car adapter is included. AC adapter is sold seperately in our store. Cool It Image
The Cool It Mini Fridge works on the Peltier effect. The working principle of the fridge is basically driven by a semiconductor thermoelectric device. One side of a semiconductor absorbs heat (cooling side) and the other side (fan side) dissipates the heat. What this means is that it basically makes use of the wind chill factor to dissipate heat from inside the cooler. It does not cool like a regular refrigerator, so please do not expect ice to form. In 80°F ambient temperature it is generally capable of cooling down to 50° F.
The Cool It Mini Fridge requires good air circulation. Something blocking the air flow will hinder its cooling capabilities. An inch of space behind it, allowing air flow, is required. Because of its cooling process, it works better if items put into it are cold to begin with. Naturally, warm items will take longer to cool down.
Approximately 7-1/4" wide x 9-3/4" deep x 11" high, the inner dimensions are 5-1/4" wide x 5-1/4" deep x 8-1/4" high. The power consumption is 48 watts at an operating voltage of 12V DC.
The Cool It Mini Fridge uses Polystylene foam for insulation which cannot be seen because of the easy-clean plastic construction, inside and out. Works best when kept out of direct sunlight.
We used one on a trip through the 113°F Mohave desert and it kept our drinks cool and easy to drink. We will use it next trip too.
