American Retro


We are happy and proud to announce that we now have Childrens Toys and Collectables including American Retro Pedal Cars, Pedal Planes and Wagons built out of Steel similar to the ones built back in the 30's, 40's and 50's and we are also handling Airflow Collectibles line of reproduction Planes and Tricycles also built out of Steel similar to the ones built back in the 30's, 40's and 50's.
Link to our American Retro Race Car pageThis race car favors a famous 1957 Giordani racer, only this one is made of heavy guage steel instead of fiberglass. Made of heavy gauge steel which is powder coat painted for protection and durability. The tires are made of durable rubber and ball bearings are used at every appropriate area. Chrome is used extensively. This pedal vehicle has been Child Safety Tested to American standards. This one will be the flagship of American Retro pedal cars. It is big! The body length is 53" and the width is 26". The front tires are 12¼ diameter and the rears are 13¼ diameter. Minor assembly is required and can be done with a screwdriver, wrench and pliers. Ages 3 to 8 Available in Red, Blue, Black and White
Link to our American Retro Sedans page This sedan was inspired by the 1949 "sad face" pedal cars. The all steel full Child sized pedal car is trimmed with a chrome windshield, chrome steering wheel, chrome hood ornament and chrome hub caps. The color is medium blue with white painted insignias. Made of heavy gauge steel which is powder coat painted for protection and durability. The tires are made of durable rubber and ball bearings are used at every appropriate area. This pedal vehicle has been Child Safety Tested to American standards. Body length is 36" and the body width is 15¼".Ages 3 to 7.
Link to our American Retro Firetrucks pageInspired by the "sad face" pedal vehicles of yesteryear. It is nicknamed "sad face" because of the grill work, which appears to be a cross between a 1949 Packard, 1949 Buick and a 1949 Oldsmobile, which give the impression of an upside down smile. The all steel full Child sized Firetruck pedal car is trimmed with a chrome windshield, chrome steering wheel, chrome ladder racks, chrome fire bell, chrome hub caps and two removeable ladders. The color is fire engine red. Made of heavy gauge steel which is powder coat painted for protection and durability. The tires are made of durable rubber and ball bearings are used at every appropriate area. This pedal vehicle has been Child Safety Tested to American standards. Length of body is 45.5" and the body width is 15.6". For ages 3 to 7.
Link to our American Retro Estate Wagon pageThis Station Wagon is another "sad face" styled pedal powered vehicle. At no loss for chrome the "40s" color creates a genuine feel for the era. Made of heavy gauge steel which is powder coated a beautiful medium green for protection and durability. The insignias are painted dark green and white. The tires are made of durable rubber and ball bearings are used at every appropriate area. This pedal vehicle has been Child Safety Tested to American standards. Body Length 43.5" x body width 45.6". For ages 3 to 7.
Link to our Jalopy pageThe Jalopy is our entry level car. This well built jalopy is the smallest of our pedal car line. Built for 2 to 4 year olds it sports a tubular frame and a wood dash complete with simulated gauges. This pedal vehicle has been Child Safety Tested to American standards. It comes in green shown as well as red.
